Reverend Emanuel Brown is the Senior Pastor for Overcomers Tabernacle in Bronx New York.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies from the Jamaica Theological Seminary, Kingston, Jamaica and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, New York.
Reverend Emanuel Brown accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1987, in St. Ann, Jamaica, West Indies. Since then he has learned how to trust God in his daily walk. He is a man of prayer, who seeks to walk in the presence of the Lord and often remarked that whether by death or the rapture he wants to be ushered in God’s eternal presence.
In 1994 Reverend Brown became an adjunct Professor at the North Coast School of Ministries where he taught Christian Psychology, Sociology and Homiletics. In 1997 he acted as the Academic dean for the institution, while the academic dean went on a sabbatical.

In 1999 Reverend Brown was ordained to the Pastoral ministry. His first pastoral assignment was The Assemblies of the First Born Church in Angel Park , Spanish Town. As a young and gifted Pastor, Reverend Brown helped to establish that church as a part of the bedrock of the modern housing development.

With the desire to be with his beloved wife, Reverend Brown migrated to the United States in 2000. He was placed at the Assemblies of the First Born Church in New London Connecticut. He again helped that church through its infancy stage and cemented it in the community.

In 2002 Reverend Brown answered the call of God to move to New York to fulfill the Pastoral vacancy at the Assemblies of the First Born Church in Mount Vernon. Over the last twelve years, he has been instrumental in relocating the church to the Bronx, increasing its membership, and instituting many new programs.
Reverend Brown is a Visionary, who loves to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. In 2007 he pioneered a three-day prayer and fasting Prophetic Conference which he called “Esther Fast.” Over the last seven year the Conferences have seen people saved, healed and delivered. Ministries, businesses, books and other projects also birthed from this Prophetic Conference.

Reverend Brown is also, an insightful teacher who loves to study the word. He also loves to write. His short papers include: Do not awake my love until it is ready, Every Son Needs a Father and Priest, and The Miracles of Jesus: What can we learn from them? Reverend Brown is also an excellent preacher and his sermon entitled ‘One Lot’ has brought him international recognition.

Reverend Brown has a servant heart and he loves to help others to maximize their potentials. He currently teaches Homiletics at The Bezer Bible Institute in New Rochelle. Over his twenty years of ministry Reverend Brown has helped to train and ordain many Ministers. God has anointed and equipped Reverend Brown to operate in the five fold ministry and he continues to avail himself to be used by God.
